Parade nautique de bégonia à Capitola / Capitola Begonia Nautical Parade

Dimanche après-midi avait lieu la fameuse parade nautique de bégonia à Capitola. Comme d’habitude, nous étions à notre spot habituel avec deux familles. Cette année, j’ai filmée l’évènement et je vous fais partager le petit film.

Un incident fâcheux est venu gâcher l’après-midi. Perché du haut d’un arbre à plus de 20 pieds au-dessus de nous était un petit morveux de 14 ans qui s’amusait à nous lancer divers objets, en commençant par des déchets et finalement avec des roches de bonnes grosseurs. Il a lancé au visage une de ces roches sur un ami de la famille, âgé à peine de 5 ans! Mon mari a retrouvé le coupable et appelé la police. Comme d’habitude, la mère de l’adolescent a pris sa défense, même si le crétin avait une roche dans sa main. La police n’a pas arêté ce dernier mais a fait évacuée tout les gens innocent autour.

Franchement, la police de Capitola fait dur pas à peu près. Aux dernières nouvelles, le crétin est toujours en liberté. Mon mari a pris sa photo ainsi que celle de sa mère. Bref, si personne n’a vu le mesquin nous lancer des pierres, on ne peut rien faire légalement. Je gagerai un brun que l’an prochain, les gens seront plus limité ou ils pourront regarder la parade nautique juste à cause de ce crétin.

Sunday afternoon, we attended the Capitola Begonia Nautical parade in Capitola. As usual, we were at our usual spot with two other families. This year, I filmed the event and I am sharing with you the little movie.

An unfortunate incident happened also on that afternoon. Perched 20 feet higher than where we were was a little 14 years old jerk who had fun throwing all kind of stuff at us, starting with small garbages to rocks of good sizes. He has thrown one of those rocks in the face of a family’s friend, a little 5 years old boy. My husband found the suspect and called the police. As usual, the mother took the defense of her son, even though this looser had a rock in one of his hands. The police didn’t arrest him but made sure to evacuate the area filled with innocent people.

Well, bravo, Capitola police! They released the little jerk (future criminal?) and the good people had to pay the price of his crime. My husband took a picture of the prick and his mom. So, it comes to the conclusion if no one saw him throw rocks at us, we can’t do anything legally. And I bet next year, they will close more area to people to watch the parade because of that stupid jerk.

I just love the American justice (rolling my eyes here)!
