Mon beau château! / My nice castle!

Il n’y avait pas juste des châteaux de sable en Espagne hier matin; il y en avait à Capitola. C’était la compétition de châteaux de sable au fameux festival des bégonias. Cette compétition, une des favorites du grand public, est toujours un plaisir à visiter par une beau samedi matin.

Il y en avait pour tout les goûts et cette année, plus de 40 participants étaient de la partie pour gagner la faveur du grand public. Comme toujours, il y avait 5 catégories: catégorie enfants 8 ans et moins; catégorie enfants 9 a 14 ans; catégorie un enfant et un adulte; catégorie petit groupe de 5 personnes ou moins et catégorie gros groupes de 6 personnes et plus.

Une matinée de grand plaisir pour tous!

There were not only sandcastles in Spain yesterday morning; there were some in Capitola. It was the sandcastles competition at the famous Capitola Begonias Festival. This competition, one of the public’s favorite, is always a pleasure to visit by a lovely Saturday morning.

There were sand sculptures for all tastes and this year, more than 40 contestants took part of the competition in order to win the favor of the public. As always, there were 5 categories: children 8 and under; children 9-14; one child and one adult; small groups up to five members and large groups of six or more.

A morning of great pleasure for everyone!
