Deuxième courte-pointe / Second Quilt

Depuis une semaine, je peux enfin clamer que j'ai terminée ma deuxième courte-pointe! Bravo! Celle-ci m'a donnée des maux de tête car elle m'a donnée des erreures techniques quand est venue le temps d'assembler les trois morceaux ensemble. Mon fils André s'est porté volontaire pour avoir cette courte-pointe et il aime autant la couleur que la chaleur qu'elle lui apporte.

Après avoir fait deux courte-pointes traditionnelles, un coussin à la main, voila que je me lancerai aux courte-pointes de ma grand-mère maternelle dans les prochains mois. Un travail d'amour et de patience...

Since one week, I can finally claim that I have officially finished my second quilt! Hurray! This latter one gave me more than my share of headaches due to technical errors when it came time to assemble the three layers. My son André volunteered to keep this quilt because he loves both the color and the warmth that it gives him.

After finishing two traditional quilts and a hand quilt cushion, I will now tackle on to finish my late grandmother's quilts in the next months. A labor of love and patience...
