Generation Y

Afin de mieux comprendre cette génération, Joanne Sujansky, mère de trois enfants de génération y, a récemment publié un livre, “Keeping the Millenials: Why Companies are Loing Billions in Turnover to this Generation and What to do About it.”

Who are these young people of generation Y? They are young adults born between 1981 and 1999. They just got into the job market with in mind something different than the generations before their. They are tech-savvy and educated but they don’t see their job as their sole reason to live.

They were often raised by two working parents who missed soccer practices and recitals. They are a young generation who can work 5 hours one day and 21 the next.

In order to have a better understanding of this generation, Joanne Sujansky, mother of three generation Y kids, recently published a book, “Keeping the Millenials: Why Companies are Loing Billions in Turnover to this Generation and What to do About it.”

The future will tell if this book will give us resourceful advice in order to have a better undertanding of this new generation…
