L'heure de grâce... / Time to go...

Personne n'aime y penser mais on va tous finir avec le même destin: la mort. Qu'elle arrive quand on est bébé ou à 90 ans, elle est souvent très cruelle. Il y a quelques années, j'ai fait mon testament. Il y a deux mois, j'ai fait mes dernières directives (POLST). Maintenant, c'est le temps de planifier ma mort.

Quelle sujet morbide mais oh combien inévitable! J'ai assistée à plusieurs funérailles au courant de ma vie et j'ai finalement décidée comment je veux les voir dérouler. Une des choses originales que je ferais, c'est un vidéo. La plupart du temps, on met en valeur la personne décédée. Mais dans mon cas, je veux parler des gens que j'aime. Donc, j'ai créé hier un vidéo invitant tout les gens qui me connaissent et désirant avoir un vidéo en leur honneur (durée entre 30 secondes et 2 minutes). J'invite les gens à m'écrire au nsroths@employees.org et cela me fera un honneur de parler de vous... en bien, évidemment!

Nobody like to think about it but we all end up being the same: dead. Whether it arrives when we are baby or at 90 years old, death is often very cruel. A few years ago, I did my will. Two months ago, I did my last directives (POLST). Now, it is time to plan my funerals.

What an awful subject but it shouldn't be avoided! I attended several funerals in my life and I finally decided how I want to have mines. One of the original things I will do is a video. Most of the time, funerals are dedicated to the deceased person. But in my case, I want to create a video in their honor (timeframe between 30 seconds and 2 minutes).
