Peu de neige... partout! / Barely any snow... everywhere!

Pour les amateurs de sports hivernales, c'est une annee bien décevante é date. Partout où j'ai des amis où la neige se fait présente en saison hivernale, on se plaint que les paysages ressemblent plus à des scènes de printemps.

J'étais au Canada il y a deux semaines et même chose. Un ami allemand me disait qu'il y avait peu de neige dans son patelin natal dans le temps de Noël. En Californie, un des plus beaux endroits où voir des paysages de neige est Yosemite. Même son de cloche pour ce parc national. On se demande où est la neige cette année...

For winter sports fans, it is a very deceving year up to date. Everywhere I have friend where snow is normally present during the winter months are complaining that the scenery is more similar to a sad Spring scene.

I was in Canada a week and a half ago and same thing. A German friend who was visiting his hometown during the holiday said there was barely snow on the ground. In California, one of the nicest places to spot winter scene is Yosemite. This place is just having the same problem than elsewhere. We are really wondering where is the snow this year...
