Depuis environ 7 ans, courir est l’un de mes sports favoris. J’ai débutée par courir dans le voisinage, puis je me suis inscrite à des 10k, un 12K, un demi-marathon et il y a 3 ans, un marathon. J’ai vraiment eue la piqûre des marathons après ma première experience. Je me suis dit qu’éventuellement, ce serait plaisait de voyager à travers le monde et participer à différents marathons.
Je ne suis pas la seule qui a ce désir. Roger Sanford, un homme d’affaire de Scotts Valley en Californie possède également la passion des marathons. Le 7 mars prochain, avec une centaine d’autres coureurs, participera au 11th Antarctica Marathon/Half-Marathon (http://www.marathontours.com/index.cfm?pid=10734). Les coureurs sont choisis par une loterie parmi 5000 participants. L’Antartique, le continent le plus sec sur la terre, va s’avérer un véritable défi pour ce coureur.
On lui souhaite la meilleure des chances et on espère qu’il aura du plaisir à courir cette course mémorable!

Since 7 years, running is one of my favorite sports. I started running in the neighborhood, then I took part to some 10K, one 12K, a half-marathon and, 3 years ago, a full marathon. I really fell in love with marathons after this first experience. I always thought it would be a neat way to travel around to world and participate to different marathons here and there.
I am not the only one who have such desire. Roger Sanford, a Scotts Valley, California businessman also loves running marathon. On March 7th, along with a hundred runners, he will take part to the 11th Antarctica Marathon/Half-Marathon (http://www.marathontours.com/index.cfm?pid=10734). Runners are picked through a lottery. This year, more than 5,000 people wished for a coveted spot. Antarctica, the driest continent on earth, will be a real challenge for this runner.
We wish him the best of luck and hope he will have fun running this memorable race.
