Depuis que je suis toute petite, j’aimais bien regarder le personnage Gumby et son fidèle cheval Pokey. Je me souviens de regarder ces “petits bonhommes” avant d’aller à l’école le matin. Mon Dieu que le temps passe vite!
“Les aventures de Gumby” était en fait le premier programme-TV qui utilisait la méthode d’animation par pâte à modeler. L’homme qui animait ces personnages, Art Clokey, s’est éteint à l’âge de 88 ans vendredi dernier en Californie après avoir souffert de multiples infections à la vessie.

Since I am a child, I really enjoyed watching the Gumby character with his faithful horse companion, Pokey. I remember to have watch this cartoon before going to school in the morning. God, times flies by quickly!
“The Adventures of Gumby” was in fact the first television program to use claymation. The man who animated these characters, Art Clokey, died Friday in California at age 88 after suffering repeated bladder infections.
My sympathy to the family.
