Encourager les sans-abris / Second chance for the homeless

Le magasin, From Our Garden (http://www.homelessgardenproject.org/buy_organic/store.htm) est situé à Santa Cruz.

Almost everybody that I know love shopping. Unfortunately, during these years of mega-store, we often buy things made and manufactured outside of the country.

In Santa Cruz, a small store exists where all their displayed products are made locally. And not by anybody! All objects and products are grown, made and packaged by homeless people. All purchases benefit the Homeless Garden Project, an area nonprofit providing job training and transitional employment for the homeless.

The store, From Our Garden, (http://www.homelessgardenproject.org/buy_organic/store.htm) is located in Santa Cruz. If you are not around, there is an option to shop online.
