Ann Miura-Ko

Issue d’une famille d’ingénieur et ayant grandit avec un intérêt pour la robotique, il n’est pas surprenant que notre femme à succès de la semaine soit devenue l’une des plus jeunes investisseures de la Silicon Valley.

Âgée à peine de 34 ans, elle vient de terminer son doctorat l’an dernier et vient de démarrer FloodGate Fund avec son partenaire Mike Maples Jr. Cette firme investit dans les compagnies qui sont à leur tout début.

Même quand elle étudiait à Yale, elle avait sue se démarquer en étant membre d’une équipe qui avait construit quatre robots jouant au soccer pour la compétition RoboCup à Paris en 1998. Malgré une vie personnelle bien occupée (elle attend son troisième enfant pour décembre), elle mene sa barque professionelle bien rondement. Une jeune femme dont nous n’avons pas terminée d’entendre parler d’elle.

Coming from an engineering family and having grown up with a strong interest in robotic, it is not surprising that our successful woman of the week is one of the youngest venture capitalists of the Silicon Valley.

With her 34 years old, she just finished her doctorate last year and just started FloodGate Fund with her partner Mike Maples Jr. This firm concentrates its investment in early-stage start-ups. Even at the time she was a student at Yale, she was able to stand above the crowd by building with a team four robots playing soccer for the RoboCup 1998 Competition in Paris.

Despite a busy personal life (she is expecting her third child for December), she is running a nice professional along the way. Ann Miura-Ko is a young woman that we have not end hearing about her.
