Garima Thockchom

Dans le courant de ma chronique des femmes à succès de la Silicon Valley, je vous présente Garima Thockchom. Vétérante dans le domaine du marketing et de l’ingénierie de la haute-technologie, elle a été récemment nommée comme l’une des 100 femmes d’affaire les plus influente de la Silicon Valley. Les personnes nominées ont été choisies par leur collègues et basé sur le succès dans leur industrie.

Titulaire d’un bac et d’une maîtrise en ingénierie électrique de la University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering à Bangalore en Inde, elle détient présentement la position de vice-présidente pour Gale Technologies. Auparavant, elle a fait ses preuves à Zeenova comme COO et GM ainsi qu’a VMware comme superviseure. À part son travail qui l’occupe à temps plein, elle trouve du temps pour faire du bénévolat. Elle a joint les rangs de TIE (The Indus Entrepreneur) ainsi que Indus Women Leaders et le India Community Center.

Like any Monday, I am presenting you another successful Silicon Valley businesswoman: Garima Thockchom. With over 17 years of experience, Thockchom is a high-tech engineering and marketing veteran. She was recently recognized as one of Silicon Valley's 2011 Women of Influence by Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal. Nominated people is being done by peers and based upon the success they brought in their field of work.

She received her M.S. in computer engineering and B.S. in electronics engineering at the University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering in Bangalore, India. She is currently vice president of marketing at Gale Technologies. Beforehand, she was working as COO and GM for Zeenova as well as being a manager for VMware. Besides the fact that work takes up most of her time, she finds time to do volunteer work. She is a volunteer with TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs), the Indus Women Leaders and the India Community Center.
