À Tony Hayward / To Tony Hayward

This blog is dedicated to a man who disappointed the United States. A man who has destroyed our beaches, our ocean and our life. Does he care a bit about it? I doubt it. Established across the pond in England, he is quite far from our problem.

This man is Tony Hayward, BP CEO. He came to USA to see the damages and to defend his company during a few days; then he took off on a yacht and we haven’t heard from him since then. Yesterday, a movement across USA was created in order to protest against this man and his corporation. A marking moment. “Hands across the Sand”, it is a reunion of protesters throughout the USA. By holding hands, we wanted to show how much we care about our beaches and our environment. I attended one of those meetings in Santa Cruz.

I hope, Mr. Hayward, that you had a TV in your yacht and that you were able to see at what point we care about our country.
