Partie de pêche... bredouille / Gone Fishing...

Il y a fort longtemps que les enfants veulent aller pêcher et nous avons pris quelques heures hier matin pour aller pêcher à Loch Lomond. Les lacs sont rares en Californie (j'étais gâtée au Québec avec nos nombreux lacs) et à Loch Lomond, on doit se contenter d'un lac artificiel avec des fermes de poissons.

Je pense que cela doit faire longtemps qu'ils n'ont pas rempli leur lac car nous sommes revenus bredouille... Il en est de même pour les autres pêcheurs que nous avons rencontrés.

Oh well, on nous a dit que cela ira à l'an prochain pour remplir le lac de poissons. On s'y reprendra...

It's been a while since the kids are nagging us to bring them fishing so we took a few hours yesterday morning to fish at Loch Lomond. Lakes are a rare sight in California (I was spoiled in Quebec with our numerous lakes) and at Loch Lomond, we have to be happy with an artificial lake filled with farmed fishes.

I think it's been a while since they filled their lake with fishes because we didn't catch anything... It was the same for the other fishermen we met.

Oh well, they told us it won't be until next year until they have another shipment of fresh fishes. We will be back...
