Il y a quelques semaines, San José avait eu un festival qui mettait en vedette ces camions mobiles et l’évènement avait eu un succès monstre. Pour ceux d’entres vous qui n’y êtes pas allés et voulez gouter à leur “délices”, c’est un rendez-vous aujourd’hui lors du Art Splash au Montalvo Art Center. Le festival vous permettra de goûter aux différentes cuisines des cantines mobiles de même que d’apprécier des invités locaux tel que Seyed Alavi, Andrea Blum, Robert Davis, Cameron Hockenson et Caroline Lewis. Plus de 9 cantines mobiles y seront mettant en vedette de la nourriture vietnamienne, cajun, mexicaine, indienne et bien d’autres…
L’évènement aura lieu de 11h00 à 16h00 au Montalvo Art Center. Bon appétit!

Since my arrival in the USA, I never understood the thrill to buy meals from food trucks. I heard all sort of stories about them regarding hygiene (they used to call those trucks, “roach coaches”) but, in general, Americans love their food greasy and fried and often give up their good healthy habits for the time of a festival.
A few weeks ago, San Jose had a festival featuring these food trucks and the event was a huge success. For those of you who didn’t go and want to dare trying those “delicacies”, get down to the Art Splash at Montalvo Art Center today. The festival will allow you to taste different cuisines from local food trucks as well as appreciate local guests such as Seyed Alavi, Andrea Blum, Robert Davis, Cameron Hockenson and Caroline Lewis. More than 9 food trucks will be present and will offer different cuisines such as Vietnamese, Cajun, Mexican, Indian and much more…
The event is happening today from 11 AM to 4 PM at the Montalvo Art Center. Bon Appetit!
