Clinique médicale mobile / Mobile Wellness Clinic

Ceux qui vivent aux USA savent que ce n’est pas tout le monde qui peut se permettre financièrement de consulter un medecin. Il y a également ceux qui vivent trop loin des villes et qui ne peuvent pas voir un médecin sur un horaire regulier. Pour les résidents du comté de Santa Cruz, il y a maintenant l’existence de la Clinique Médicale Mobile de la Dominican Hospital Foundation.

L’unité mobile se déplace à quatre endroits différents du lundi au jeudi pour répondre à la demande grandissante des patients. Pendant les heures de visite (9h00 à 15h00), les patients pourront voir une infirmière en chef, une infirmière, un coordinateur de la clinique et des bénévoles. En plus d’offrir des soins de base, elle offrira des séances de vaccinations, une petite pharmacie et un laboratoire pour tester le diabète et le cholestérole, entre autre.

Un service médical qui aidera grandement la population de Santa Cruz.

For those who live in USA, they know that it is not everyone who can financially afford to see a doctor. There are others who live in remote rural area and can’t see a doctor on a regular basis. For Santa Cruz County residents, there is now the existence of the Mobile Wellness Clinic of the Dominican Hospital Foundation.

The mobile unit is moving to four different areas and its service is available Monday to Thursday, from 9 to 3. During those hours, patients can see a nurse practitioner, a nurse, a clinic coordinator and volunteers. Besides offering basis services, the unit plans to offer vaccinations, a limited pharmacy and laboratory services and health screenings for diabetes and cholesterol, among others.

A medical service that will greatly help the Santa Cruz population.
