Depuis que j’ai graduée, l’économie a changé et la méthode des livres scolaires également. On peut maintenant louer ses livres scolaires. Mais attention! Le programme, si idéal soit-il, ne plaît pas à tous. Les universités se plaignent de perdre de l’argent dans cet entreprise. Malgré l’aide financière du gouvernement, les étudiants trouvent que le coût de location est trop exhorbitant.
D’après moi, le programme de location est quand même une bonne initiative car, par expérience, je peux vous avouer qu’on arrive rarement à revendre nos livres et si on le fait, on ne nous donne que des peanuts à comparer du prix payer quelques mois auparavant.

When I was young, at primary school, all my schoolbooks were loaned to me. So, it didn’t cost much for my parents to send me to school. When I ended up at the university, I almost had a heart attack because I had to pay every single textbooks! What a bad surprise! Depending of the classes I picked, I could have a hefty bill of more than $700 for textbooks, books that were very tough to sell after the semester was over.
Since I graduated, the economy changed and the way we handle textbook did also. We can now rent our textbooks. But wait! All is not so ideal. Universities are complaining that they are losing their short in that new venture. Despite government financial aid, students said they are paying way too much the textbook rental cost.
The loan program is a good initiative because, by experience, I can tell you that you rarely can sell your textbooks and if you do, the merchant will barely give you cash back.
