Opéré par un professionel et des bénévoles, le majestueux bateau vogue sur la côte du Pacifique et s’arrête à différent port pour des tours et visites. Hier matin, notre petite famille nous sommes rendue à Moss Landing pour visiter ce bateau. L’équipe était en costume d’époque et nous ont parlé avec enthousiasme de leur aventure sur ce grand voilier.
Si l’apparence du bateau vous est familière, ne soyez pas surpris. Le bateau a récemment fait des apparences dans les films “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl” ainsi que “Big Enterprise”.

A grand nautical beauty has come for a short visit in Santa Cruz this weekend, a sailboat named Lady Washington. Lady Washington, it is a ship replica of the original 18th century boat (bearing the same name), built in Aberdeen, Washington, in 1989.
Operated by a professional and volunteer crew, she sails up and down the Pacific coast reaching out to sailors and lubbers of all ages through the romance of the sea in the hope that they take a little of her history back with them. Yesterday morning, our family drove to Moss Landing to visit the boat. The crew were dressed in costumes and spoke to us with enthusiasm about their adventure on this tall ship.
If the appearance of this boat seems familiar, don’t be surprised. The boat has recently appeared in various movies such as “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl” and “Big Enterprise”.
