Si vous avez déjà entendue une performance “live” mettant en vedette l’instrument de musique arborigène australien didgeridoo, vous savez que le son est l’un des plus étrange que vous ayez entendue. Lundi soir, j’ai assistée à mon premier concert mettant en vedette ce mystérieux instrument.

Xavier Rudd, un musicien Australien de 32 ans, ainsi que son groupe Izintaba, étaient en concert lundi dernier au Catalyst à Santa Cruz. La musique que produit Rudd est très “dance” et ses mélodies ont un rythme assez reggea.

If you have heard a live performance featuring the Australian arboriginal musical instrument didgeridoo, you know its sound is one of the strangest you have ever heard. Monday night, I attended my very first concert with the mysterious instrument on stage.

Xavier Rudd, a 32 years old Australian musician, and his group, Izintaba, were in concert last Monday night at the Catalyst in Santa Cruz. The music that Rudd produces is very “dance” and his songs have a little reggae touch.
