La convention est organisé par Creation Entertainment. Originallement créé en 1971 par deux adolescents adeptes de la science-fiction, Gary Berman et Adam Malin, ce n’est qu’en 1991, en collaboration avec Hollywood que la compagnie a commencé la commercialisation de divers produits reliés à la série TV.
Parmi les vedettes qui seront présentes: Leonard Nimoy, mieux connu sous le nom de Mr. Spock (samedi), Nichelle Nichols (Lt. Uhura) (également samedi) et Nana Visitor qui jouait Major Kira et qui fera une apparence dimanche. Plusieurs vedettes présentent également des conférences ou expositions personnelles et un coût additionel est requis pour y assister. Comme quoi, la vie continue toujours pour ces acteurs légendaires.

To all the Trekkies in the San Francisco area this weekend, I am inviting you to the Star Trek convention. It is the unique opportunity to uncover your dusty spatial costume and join hundreds of fans who loved the TV series as much as you did.
The convention is organized by the company Creation Entertainment. Originally created in 1971 by two eager sci-fi teenagers, Gary Berman and Adam Malin, it is only in 1991, in collaboration with Hollywood that the company decided to introduce commercialization of various products related to the TV series.
Among the present stars will be: Leonard Nimoy, our well-known Mr. Spock (Saturday), Nichelle Nichols (Lt. Uhura) (also Saturday) and Nana Visitor who played Major Kira and will make a special appearance on Sunday. Many stars will also present conferences or personal exhibits and an additional cost is requested to attend. Well, those stars still have to make a living.
