Le charme de Point Cabrillo / Point Cabrillo’s charm

Entre San Francisco et Eureka se trouve la ville de Mendocino. Située sur la côte Californienne, cette ville regorge de beauté avec le site historique de Point Cabrillo.

Point Cabrillo, c’est non seulement un parc national de plus de 300 acres, mais c’est aussi un endroit où se trouve un magnifique phare. Depuis ses débuts, le phare a sauvé des vies mais en 1909, la société de conservation des côtes californienne est venue à la rescousse pour retaper le phare qui perdait des plumes. En 2002, l’endroit est devenu un parc national.

Depuis ce temps, le magnifique endroit est ouvert au plus. En plus du phare, les touristes peuvent y visiter un musée et même demeurer dans un bed-and-breakfast attenant.

Point Cabrillo, it is not only a national park of more than 300 acres, but also a place where there is a gorgeous light house. Since its beginning, the lighthouse has saved many lives but in 1909, the California Coastal Conservancy stepped in to fix the lighthouse that was falling apart. In 2002, the place became a state park property.

Since that time, this wonderful place is open to the public. Besides the lighthouse, tourists can visit a museum and even stay in a nearby bed-and-breakfast.
