Quand le cancer frappe, il ne regarde pas l’âge de la personne. C’est ce qu’a constaté l’école Vine Hill Elementary, à Scotts Valley. Jeudi dernier, elle a organisée une vente de biscuits pour venir en aide à trois familles de la région qui ont des enfants souffrant de cancer.
Un des patients, Ashton Gillin, 4 ans, a été diagnosé par un cancer du cerveau en Novembre 2008 et a termine ses derniers traitements de chimiotherapie cet été. Il a trouve assez d’énergie pour venir participer au rally.
Une autre journée, le 7 octobre prochain à 12:30 p.m., sera organisé bientôt pour vendre des biscuits pour la même cause. Pour ceux qui ne sont pas dans le coin et voulez encourager l’organisme Cookies for Kids’ Cancer, visitez le lien: cookiesforkidscancer.org.

When cancer hits, it doesn’t look at the age of the person. That’s what the Vine Hill Elementary School, in Scotts Valley realized. Last Thursday, the school organized a cookie sale to benefit 3 families in the area that have children who have cancer.
One of these patients, Ashton Gillin, 4 years-old, was diagnosed by a brain cancer in November 2008 and just finished this summer his last chemotherapy treatment. He found enough energy to come to the cookie rally.
