Après la souris, c'est le chat! Je voulais faire un petit chat en peluche et ce modèle a comblée mon coeur. Après un court sondage, j'ai découvert des suggestions d'animaux que mes fans de Facebook m'ont suggérés: chien, grenouille et lapin. Mais l'animal qui revenait le plus souvent, c'est un porc-épic.

J'ai trouvée un modèle et d'ici deux semaines, je débuterai le modèle. Entre-temps, je cherche un logiciel qui transforme les dessins en modèle 3D. Si quelqu'un connait un tel logiciel, S.V.P., communiquez avec moi. J'apprécierai grandement...

After the mouse, it is the cat! I wanted a small plush cat and this model stole my heart. After a short survey, I discovered some animal choices to make in the coming month, suggestions made by my Facebook fans: dog, frog and rabbit. But the animal that was the most suggested was a hedgehog. So, this will be my next project.

I found a pattern online and within two weeks, I will start tackling the subject. Meanwhile, I am looking for a soft toy making software. If anyone know such software to convert a drawing into a 3D pattern, I'd appreciate the tip.

L’artiste que je vous présente en ce jeudi est vraiment un coup de coeur que j’ai découvert récemment dans un magazine. Il y a des idées qui sont souvent si bonnes que nous aurions aime avoir créé une telle compagnie.

Child’s Own Studio est l’une de ces compagnies coup de coeur. L’idée derrière la compagnie est touchante également: faire un jouet comfortable et qui sera reconnu pour un enfant de 4 ans, le tout créé à partir d’un dessin conçu par l’enfant. Chaque création est unique et le niveau de détails et choix de couleurs sont reproduit le plus fidèlement possible. Sa créatrice, Wendy Tsao a fabriqué la première peluche en 2007. Depuis ce jour, elle a créé plus d’une centaines de peluches personalisées.

Une idée tout à fait géniale qui fait sûrement grand plaisir aux tout-petits.

The artist I am presenting you on this Thursday is truly one favorites of mine. She is Canadian and I recently heard from her in a magazine. Sometimes, ideas are so good that I would have loved to be the one with such a great company idea.

Child’s Own Studio is the company that I really like. The idea behind this small startup is very touching: to make a recognizable comfort toy for a 4 year-old boy based on his drawing. Each creation is unique and the level details and color choices are reproduced as closely as possible so that the stuffed toy that arrives in the mail is immediately recognizable to the child who designed it. Its founder, Wendy Tsao, made her first plush toy in 2007. Since that day, she created more than a hundred personalized plush toys.

A brilliant idea that will surely please the little ones.
