Petit minou / Kitty

Après la souris, c'est le chat! Je voulais faire un petit chat en peluche et ce modèle a comblée mon coeur. Après un court sondage, j'ai découvert des suggestions d'animaux que mes fans de Facebook m'ont suggérés: chien, grenouille et lapin. Mais l'animal qui revenait le plus souvent, c'est un porc-épic.

J'ai trouvée un modèle et d'ici deux semaines, je débuterai le modèle. Entre-temps, je cherche un logiciel qui transforme les dessins en modèle 3D. Si quelqu'un connait un tel logiciel, S.V.P., communiquez avec moi. J'apprécierai grandement...

After the mouse, it is the cat! I wanted a small plush cat and this model stole my heart. After a short survey, I discovered some animal choices to make in the coming month, suggestions made by my Facebook fans: dog, frog and rabbit. But the animal that was the most suggested was a hedgehog. So, this will be my next project.

I found a pattern online and within two weeks, I will start tackling the subject. Meanwhile, I am looking for a soft toy making software. If anyone know such software to convert a drawing into a 3D pattern, I'd appreciate the tip.

Peluche / Soft Toy

Il y a un mois, j'ai lue un article concernant une jeune maman qui a débutée une entreprise pour faire des peluches à partir de dessins d'enfants. J'ai tout de suite eue un coup de coeur pour cette compagnie. En cherchant un peu plus, j'ai vue que cette jeune entrepreneure était enterrée d'ouvrage et a dûe délaisser beaucoup de clients pour souffler un peu.

Me voyez-vous venir maintenant? Comme j'aime la couture et tout ce qui a rapport aux enfants, je me suis dit: "Pourquoi ne pas m'essayer moi aussi?" Un petit tour à la bibliotheque et je me suis ramassée avec des piles de livres sur le sujet. Plusieurs avaient un patron dont l'exemple ci-dessous, ma première peluche. C'est une petite souris. Le patron est tiré d'un livre des années 70 donc le patron était mal fait malheureusement mais je me promet une meilleure peluche la prochaine fois.

A month ago, I read an article about a young mom who started her company to make soft toys from children's drawings. What a great idea! When I investigated more, I found out this young entrepreneur was buried with work and had to turn clients away.

Now, do you see what I see? I see an opportunity here. Because I love sewing, fabrics and anything related to children, I thought to myself: "Why not me too?" A small stroll to the library and I came home with a pile of books on the subject. Many of those books had a pattern inside like the example underneath. It is a small mouse. The pattern was from a 1970's book and it was badly explained but nevertheless, I managed to finish the plush toy. Next time, I will try finding a better model.
