Être une star! / Famous!

En cette fin du mois d’avril, j’ai décidée d’aborder un sujet très touristique que j’ai eue la chance de visiter il y a fort longtemps: le Hollywood Walk of Fame. S’étendant sur plus de 2.4 miles sur le Hollywood Boulevard et Vine Street, on peut marcher sur un trottoir qui a plus de 2000 étoiles d’artistes tous connus.

Pour avoir marchée sur ce fameux boulevard, je peux vous avouer qu’il est difficile de trouver une étoile en particulier. Donc, il y a quelqu’un d’ingénieux qui a, évidemment, créé un iPhone app, le Hollywood Star Walk iPhone App, pour avoir une carte des étoiles avec leur biographie et photos. L’application permet même aux utilisateurs d’être sur l’étoile et de voir magiquement apparaître l’histoire derrière leur nom de star.

Amusez-vous bien à prendre une marche sur le Hollywood Boulevard!

On this end of April, I decided to talk about a very touristic subject that I had the opportunity to visit a long time ago: the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Spreading over the length of 2.4 miles on Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street, anyone can walk on a sidewalk that has more than 2,000 stars from famous artists.

I have walked this boulevard and I can honestly tell you that it is difficult to find a specific star. So, someone totally genius just created, of course, an iPhone App, the Hollywood Star Walk iPhone App, for a map, bios with photos of every famous people who have a star. The application even allows users to stand over any star and magically discover the story behind the name.
