Halle Tecco

Dans le cadre de ma chronique des femmes de succès dans la Silicon Valley, je vous présente une nouvelle figure parmi nous: Halle Tecco. Jeune graduée de la Harvard University, elle emménagera ses pénates dans la Baie de San Francisco pour créer Rock Health qui se consacre au milieu de la santé mobile.

Mrs. Tecco a développée une expertise dans le domaine après avoir travaillée comme interne dans les applications médicales pour le magasin Apple. Elle s’est mis en affaire avec Ping Li, un partenaire d’Accel, un fond d’investissement. Chaque entrepreneur choisi par Rock Health deviendra un “fellow” et le montant d’argent assigné sera différent d’une compagnie à l’autre. Idéalement, au départ, Mrs. Tecco recherche 12 entrepreneurs qui ont soit de bonnes idées ou n’ont pas le temps d’élaborer une application qui existe déjà.

En plus de poursuivre sa nouvelle compagnie, elle est la fondatrice et directrice exécutive de Yoga Bear, une compagnie qui fait la promotion du yoga envers les patients de cancer.

Un nouveau visage dans notre paysage de la Silicon Valley.

In my weekly chronicle of successful businesswomen in Silicon Valley, I am presenting you a new face amongst us: Halle Tecco. Young Harvard University graduate, she will move her business in San Francisco Bay Area to create Rock Health which will devote itself to mobile health.

Tecco developed an expertise in the area after working as a business development intern in mobile health applications in Apple’s App Store. She is going in business with Ping Li, a partner at Accel, an investing fund. Each entrepreneur chosen by Rock Health will become a fellow and the amount of money varies from one company to another. Ideally, at the start, Tecco is searching 12 entrepreneurs who have great ideas or don’t have time to elaborate an application that they already created.

Besides starting this new company, she is the founder and executive director of Yoga Bear, a nonprofit that promotes wellness for cancer patients through the practice of yoga.
