Samedi soir, c'était au tour de ma fille Savannah d'être la vedette de Santa Cruz. Elle faisait partie de la chorale pour chanter l'opéra "Carmina Burana". Elle n'est pas chanteuse d'opéra mais le spectacle valait le déplacement. Tout les chanteurs membre de la chorale devait porter un vêtement d'inspiration médiéval.
Çi-dessous, quelques photos de l'évènement ainsi qu'un court extrait du spectacle. Étant donne la distance d'où j'étais assise, veuillez excuser la piètre qualité de l'image. Mais vous pourrez apprécier la qualité sonore toutefois.

Saturday night, it was my daughter Savannah's turn to be the star in Santa Cruz. She was member of the choir to sing the opera "Carmina Burana". She is not an opera singer but the show was worth the time and money. All choir members had to wear clothes that were inspired by the medieval time.
Underneath, some photos of the event as well as a short video extract from the show. My apologies for the low quality of the video but I was sitting quite far from the stage. However, you can enjoy the singing quality.

Je suis une grande fan de spectacle scolaire, il y a la dedans des talents en devenir. Je crois aussi que les enfants gagnent en estime de soi et en confiance à faire ce genre d'activité. Moi petite je faisais du ballet classique ♥

Merci de ton commentaire Éléonore. Oui, quand le mois de mai arrive, c'est la ribambelle de spectacles scolaires et de voir le futur talent.
Le prénom de ma fille a été choisi par mon mari. Je pense que la mode ce prénom vient en l'honneur de la ville de Savannah en Georgie (comme les parents qui appellent leur enfant Dakota, Phoenix, Paris, Cheyenne, ...)

Thank you for checking out Savannah's performance. Savannah is in a professional choir group and she will have one last show on June 6th with a special dress. Hopefully the lighting will be better for that show and also, I won't be sitting so far away in the audience!
