Comme il y a plus de demande pour les Chihuahuas à New York, la logique était d’envoyer des chiens dans cet État. On blâme la surpopulation des Chihuahuas en Californie avec la rage des fans qui imitent des starlettes comme Paris Hilton qui traîne son Chihuahua partout où elle va.
