Skunk Train

Oui, ma fois, me direz-vous! C’est tout un nom à donner pour un train. En fait, le nom a été donné car on dit qu’on peut sentir ce train à distance. Malgré tout, le Skunk Train fait la fierté des résidents de Fort Bragg-Willits en Californie.

Les chemins de fer sont apparus en Californie il y a 125 ans. Encore aujourd’hui, plusieurs existent mais sont principalement utilisés comme attrait touristique. Pour les touristes qui sont de passage dans le coin, ils peuvent prendre le Skunk Train pour une promenade de 2 heures. On y trouve à bord un petit restaurant et un bar. La route est situé sur un paysage enchanteur. Pour ceux qui aime l’aventure au grand air, il y a un wagon special à aire ouverte.

Well, my God, would you say! To call a train, Skunk Train, is not very appealing. In fact, the name was given because people used to smell the train from distance. Despite all, the Skunk Train is the Fort Bragg-Willits residents’ pride.

Railroads have appeared in California 125 years ago. Still today, many exist but are principally used as tourist attractions. For tourists who drive by, they can take the Skunk Train for a 2-hour drive. Inside the train is a small snack-bar and bar. The road is located in an enchanted scenery. For those who love the great outdoor, there is an open-air wagon.
