Plusieurs personnes connaissent le concept du “couch surfing” en voyageant d’un endroit à l’autre. Une nouvelle compagnie, Airbnb, qui existe depuis 2008, offre un peu le même concept mais en y ajoutant un peu de luxe. C’est un peu comme un “B&B” mais plus personnalisé.

Trois têtes co-fondatrices sont derrière Airbnb: Nathan Blecharczyk (CTO), Brian Chesky (CEO) and Joe Gebbia (CPO). Tous rêvent d’ajouter des maisons de rêves sur leur site même si plusieurs remplissent ce mandat tel que la location d’une île Fidji (500$/nuit) ou une maison architecturale en Argentine (1250$/nuit).

Il n’en coûte rien pour inscrire sa demeure pour louer. Il s’agit d’ouvrir un compte, télécharger des photos, dire un prix pour la nuit et s’occuper de planifier les disponibilités pour recevoir les invités. Après qu’il s’est écoulé 24 heures après l’arrivée de vos invites, le site vous enverra un paiement. C’est tout simple!

Pour ceux qui voyagent, une foule d’options s’offrent à eux. Bref, plus besoin de s’enfouir dans une chambre d’hôtel seul. L’expérience Airbnb nous permet de vivre au sein de la population qu’on visite pour nos vacances.

All of them dream to add more dream houses to their site even though there are quite a few of them already there such as the rental of a Fidji Island ($500/night) or a spectacular architectural house in Argentina ($1250/night).

It costs nothing to list a house for rent. You only have to open an account, upload some photos, mention your rental price per night and plan your schedule where you are available to host. Twenty-four hours after check-in, the site will send your payment. It is that simple.

For those who travel, there are a variety of options that are being offered to them. So, instead of burying yourself in a hotel room on your own, you can experience vacationing at its best. The Airbnb allows you to live within the locals so you can fully savor the foreign culture.
