Gagnante d'un concours! / Contest Winner!

Quelle joie! J'ai reçue un appel cette semaine me disant que j'avais gagnée un concours dans le journal local. En fait, j'ai gagnée le 3eme prix (4 billets de cinema) du concours des Oscars. Il fallait deviner les gagnants dans quelques catégories.

J'ai reçue les fameux billets aujourd'hui par la poste et les enfants se demandent déjà quand nous irons au cinéma. Au fait, qui leur a dit que c'est eux que j'allais emmené?

What a joy! I received a call this week telling me that I won a contest organized by the local newspaper. In fact, I won the third prize (4 movie tickets) of the Oscar contest. The contest was about guessing the winners in a few categories.

The movie tickets were in today's mail and my children already asked me when will we go to the movies. In fact, who told them that I may or may not bring them?
