Tout les ans, Santa Cruz a un festival de musique et feux d’artifice. Le Annual Monte Foundation (http://www.monte-foundation.com/) qui vient en aide aux écoles dans le comté de Santa Cruz. Tout les ans, il a y plus de 9 heures de musique de toutes sortes, de la nourriture et évidemment, un beau feu d’artifice pour courroner cette soirée.
Cette année, ce festival se tient le 3 octobre et pour amener cette journée a un effet un peu plus explosif, il sera animé par nul autre que Marisa Miller (http://www.marisamiller.com/). Miller, native d’Aptos, est mieux connue comme une top modèle qui a pose pour plusieurs publications, dont le fameux Sports Illustrated.
Chaque année, le festival amasse près de $300,000.00 pour les écoles. Mon petit doigt me dit que cette année, avec la présence de Marisa Miller, la cagnotte devrait être plus lucrative…
