Nestled between Santa Cruz and San Francisco, Waddel Creek beach is the ideal spot for kite surfing fans. The ongoing strong wind as well as the vast flat beach is a true delight for aficionados of this popular sport.
Yesterday afternoon, we were looking for the ideal spot to fly my daughter Savannah’s kite. Waddel Creek was the place to be! The sky was filled with dozens of colorful kites. Tourists who were driving by were at the right place to take superb photographies.
If you were there, I am inviting you to see the short video I made of kite surfing yesterday.

De la chance dans un avenir prochain? / Luck coming my way?

Yesterday afternoon, I went bike riding with my family and friends to a remote place near Santa Cruz. The path leads to a nice waterfall and the place is called Waddell Creek (http://www.trails.com/tcatalog_trail.aspx?trailid=JGS001-038). I had good times with everyone.
So, after lunch, we came back to the main trail and I took a shortcut on my own. I stumbled upon a clover patch and the first clover I lay eye on was a 4 leaf clover. How lucky! Well, this is the second time in my life that I find a 4 leaf clover. The first time was when I was 10 and up to date, it has been the luckiest year of my life. I love to think that, when I turn 42 next month, it will be another lucky year.
By the way, the 4 leaf clover I found when I was 10 was 1/5 of the size of the one I found yesterday. It is said that we have one chance out of 10,000 to find a 4 leaf clover in our life. I can't wait to see what life will bring me soon!
