Pour ceux qui n’ont pas la chance de partir pour Lake Tahoe à Noël ou au Canada (comme moi!), il y a la neige de Watsonville. Pour ceux qui ne sont pas familier avec la région, il est très rare de voir la neige tombée ici. Dans les 16 ans que j’ai vécue ici, j’ai vue la neige tomber 2 ou 3 fois! Et c’est toujours un évènement grandiose.
Hier, Watsonville a vue de la neige. Il n’a pas directement neigé du ciel mais la ville a fait amener de la neige dans un petit parc. Le prix de l’admission pour jouer dans cette belle neige blanche: une boîte de conserve qui sera donné à Second Harvest. Un petit prix à payer pour autant de plaisir. Le cinéma local, Green Valley Cinema a offert aux jeunes du chocolat chaud gratuitement.
Un moment magique pour plusieurs jeunes.

For those who won’t have a chanced to leave for Lake Tahoe at Christmas or to Canada (like me!), there was the snow in Watsonville yesterday. For those not familiar to my area, it is very rare to see snow falling here. In the 16 years I have lived here, I only saw snow falling 2 or 3 times! And it is always a grand event when it does.
Yesterday, Watsonville saw some snow. It didn’t exactly came from the sky but the city had brought load of it in a local park. The entrance price was a can of food. All profits were given to Second Harvest. A very small price to pay to have so much fun. The local movie theater, Green Valley Cinema provided free hot chocolates to the youth.
A magical moment for many young kids.
