Le plus beau jardin / The nicest garden

Plusieurs de nos amis et voisins ont fait de beaux jardins cette année. Malgré tout, le plus beau de tous était sans contredit celui de Nelson Saez, un Chiléen qui habite sur notre route privée.

Beaucoup de nos voisins envient le pouce vert de ce fier jardinier! Beau temps, mauvais temps, il est à quatre pattes dans son jardin. C’est sa plus grande fierté. Nelson cuisine beaucoup et c’est l’un de ses plaisirs de cuisiner avec sa récolte maraîchère.

Many of my friends and neighbors made beautiful gardens this year. Despite all, the nicest of all is the one made by Nelson Saez, a Chilean neighbor who live on our private road.

Many of my neighbors envy the green thumb of this proud gardener! Rain or shine, he is kneeing down in his garden. It is his great pride. Nelson is an achieved cook and it is one of his guilty pleasure to cook with his harvest.

En voulant continuer de parler de meubles et de chaises ce matin, faisant suite à mon blogue du dimanche, voici un type de chaise que vous n’aimerez pas. Regardez l’image qui joint ce blogue et dites-moi combien de minutes ou d’heures vous enduriez être assis dans cette chaise? Si vous voulez économisez de l’argent en avion, c’est maintenant le genre de chaise que les lignes aériennes vont peut-être proposé à leur voyageur.

Bref, pas le gros comfort! J’imagine même les maux qu’une personne peut avoir après un long voyage. Est-ce que ce nouveau siège en vaut vraiment la peine? Bof…

While we stay in the same subject than furniture and chairs this morning, following my Sunday's blog feature, here is a type of chair that you won’t like at all. Look at the image below included with this blog and tell me how many minutes or hours you could bear sitting in this chair? If you want to save up on airfare, it is maybe the kind of seating arrangement that you may be offered by several airlines in the near future.

Well, not the big comfort! I also imagine all the health issues related on seating on this chair after a long trip. Does this chair is really worth the saving? Hum…

Qui a le plus beau sourire de Google? Tous vous diront que la jolie Janene López-Fairfield. C’est avec regret que nous ne verrons plus ce rayon de soleil quotidien dans notre département car hier, c’était sa dernière journée au boulot parmi nous.

Étant douée d’une patience d’ange, rêvant du jour où elle ira vivre en Italie et, particulièrement, ayant du talent en danse, Janene sera surement un bon atout pour la prochaine compagnie qui l’engagera. Ayant fait des études en psychologie et science politique à la Santa Clara University, nous lui souhaitons la meilleure des chances pour tout ses projets futures.

Who has the most dazzling smile at Google? Everybody would tell you that it is the gorgeous looking Janene López-Fairfield. It is with great sadness that we won’t see this sunshine in our department because yesterday was her last day among us at work.

Granted with incredible patience, dreaming the day where she will live in Italy and, particularly, having talent in dance, Janene will be a great asset for the next company that will hire her. She studied psychology and political science at Santa Clara University. We wish her all the best in her future projects.

La foire de Santa Cruz / Santa Cruz Fair

Hier après-midi, j'ai fait plaisir aux enfants et suis allée au Santa Cruz County Fair. Bref, je vais vous avouez franchement que plus les annees passent et plus c'est pareil ou même pire.

J'ai toujours eu un faible pour les animaux de ferme, les vieilles machineries agricoles ainsi que les belles fleurs. Là où la qualité dégrade d'année en année est la qualité de la nourriture offerte et le coût exhorbitant des manèges.

Je pense que dès que les enfants seront assez grand, je passerai volontier mon tour pour le Santa Cruz County Fair. Dommage...

Yesterday afternoon, I pleased the kids and went for a quick visit at the Santa Cruz County Fair. Well, I will admit to you that frankly, more the years are going by and more it is the same or even getting worst.

I always loved the farm animals, the old agricultural machineries as well as the gorgeous flowers on display. The thing where the quality really fails is the food sold and the expensive rate to pay to get into the rides.

I even start thinking that when the kids will be old enough, I will gladly not go to the Santa Cruz County Fair anymore. Too bad...
