Halloween: le grand jour! / Halloween: the Big Day!

On this famous Halloween Day, I am finally showing you my costume. During 2010, I worked for Google Maps and I loved my job. It was with great sadness that I had to quit my job due to illness. However, my work and the corporate atmosphere inspired me to make my Halloween costume this year. It turned out to be a fairly cool costume.

I spent close to 2 weeks part-time sewing paper maps onto old clothes. I had lot of fun making the hat. I used a globe as the base. I added a string of light.

What do you think?

Pédalez avec Google! / Bike and Go with Google Maps!

Did you know that more than 57 millions Americans love biking? If you are among these people, that you use your bike to go to work or to take Sunday rides, you will be happy to learn that Google Maps has announced a new biking feature to find the best way to go from point A to B.

The new feature will give you step-by-step biking directions to make a safe trip on your bike. Google has partnered with the Rail-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that converts a network of trails from former rail lines in more than 150 cities.
