Since last year, Santa Cruz County lost three of their cancer specialists to retirement. To replace them, they had to recruit a full-time doctor and a part-timer.
The Central Coast Oncology and Hematology is one of the rare cancer centre of the region. Despite all, we estimate that 98% of the patient living in the area that need chemotherapy or radiation treatment are being approved within 48 hours.
We are surprised by the increasing number of people requiring cancer care but we make sure that there is sufficient capacity to serve them in a reasonable time manner.
