Souvenirs / Remembrance

Nathalie, dans les derniers mois de sa vie, a tourné 2 films hommage sur différentes personnes qu'elle a côtoyées.  Grande leçon de courage et de sérénité...

Après une première diffusion lors de ses funérailles américaines et québécoises, la famille désirait partager ces vidéos avec ses amis de part le monde.

Nécrologie / Necrology

Nathalie St-Pierre Roths est décédée à son domicile de Soquel, Californie le 4 août dernier après un long combat contre le cancer.  Elle laisse dans le deuil son époux Mark Roths, ses enfants Savannah et André, sa belle-fille Nikki Roths Abercrombie (Stuart Abercrombie), ses parents Suzanne et Gilles St-Pierre, son frère Martin (Marie-Line Bourgeois), sa belle-mère Jeanne Roths, sa belle-soeur Pamela (Alex Morelos), ses neveux et nièces Gloria et Maria Morelos, Charles et Elliot St-Pierre ainsi que plusieurs parents et amis.

Ses funérailles américaines ont eu lieu le 10 août dernier à Santa Cruz, Californie.

Ses funérailles québécoises auront lieu le 17 novembre 2012 en l'église de St-Denis-sur-Richelieu, Québec.  La famille vous y accueillera à partir de midi.  La cérémonie s'y déroulera à 14 hre.

Dans le but que son départ ne soit pas vain, la famille apprécierait un don à une association contre le cancer de votre choix au lieu de fleurs.

Nathalie St-Pierre Roths passed away August 4th, 2012 at her residence in Soquel, California after a long fight against cancer.  She left behind her husband Mark Roths, her kids Savannah and André, her stepdaughter Nikki Roths Abercrombie (Stuart Abercrombie), her mom and dad Suzanne and Gilles St-Pierre, her brother Martin (Marie-Line Bourgeois), her stepmother Jeanne Roths, her sister-in-law Pamela (Alex Morelos), her nieces and nefews Gloria and Maria Morelos, Charles et Elliot St-Pierre and famillies and friends.

Her american's funerals held August 10th, 2012 in Santa Cruz, California.

Her Quebec's funerals would be November 17th, 2012 at St-Denis-sur-Richelieu's chuch, Québec.  The family will be there at noon to receive people.  The ceremony would be at 2 pm.

The family prefer donation to a cancer association of your choice instead of flowers.  This way, her death wouldn't be vain.

La magie trompeuse d'une emplâtre / Fat Hog's False Magic

Quand les gens veulent en savoir un peu plus sur leur avenir, ils fréquentent souvent une diseuse de bonaventure. Celle-çi aurait lue et interpréter à sa manière la lecture sur l’avenir.

C’est ce que j’ai fait avec Katie Rose, qui a pignon sur rue dans le centre-ville de Santa Cruz. Sur sa carte, on lit qu’elle réunie les amoureux à tout jamais, elle balance le chakra et fait de la méditation avec son crystal.

Je dois humblement avoué que je n’ai vraiment pas été abasourdie par son éventail de services. Le pire dans son cas, c’est qu’elle m’a promise il y a plus d’un an. En me regardant les yeux, elle m’a dit que le cancer ne reviendrait plus jamais. MENTEUSE! Quelle soit une grosse emplâtre ou un méchant pétard, Katie Rose est à mon niveau une grosse emplâtre menteuse. Opinion personnel. Je vous invite à partager vos impressions face à ce service à la clientèle.

When people want to know more about their future, they often attend a fortune-bonaventure. It would read and interpret in his own way of reading the future.

That's what I did with Katie Rose, who set up shop in the downtown Santa Cruz. On the card it says it met the love forever, she balances the chakra makes meditation and with his crystal.

I must humbly confess that I really have not been stunned by the range of services. The worst in his case is that she promised me there is more than a year. Eyes looking at me, she told me that the cancer would never return. Liar! What is a big patch or a bad firecracker, Katie Rose is my standard a big liar plaster. Personal opinion. I invite you to share your impressions of this customer service.

De toutes les couleurs! / Of all colors!

Quand j'habitais au Canada, il était rare de voir des autos peinturées de diverses couleurs. On savait que soit le conducteur était en préparatif pour réparer son auto, ou bien il s'était déniché une minoune pas cher ou bien, le conducteur était un éternel hippie.

Bref, il est assez commun de voir de telles autos ici. Rincez-vous bien l'oeil avec ces photos.

When I was living in Canada, it was quite rare to see cars painted with multiple colors. We either knew the driver was about to have his car fixed and repainted or he got the car for a very low price or he is an eternal hippy.

But the scene of such car is common here in the Samta Cruz area. Have fun checking out those photos.

En ce beau samedi de juillet, je partage avec vous deux photos qui m'ont bien fait sourire la semaine dernière. Mashable est un site que je recommende si vous aimez la haute technologie mais aussi des articles originaux.

À toutes les semaines, ils ont leur liste de photos Twitter "coup de coeur" et j'ai bien aimée les deuz photos ci-dessous. Premièrement, Niki Minaj, une chanteuse que je n'aime pas beaucoup. Je n'ai jamais aimée Mrs Potato Head également donc quelle belle comparaison entre les deux.

Puis, concours de circumstances avec la saison estivale et ce BBQ improvisé. Trop drôle!

Every week, they publish a list of the best Twitter photos published on the popular social media site and I fell in love with the photos below. First, Niki Minaj, a singer I don't particularly like. I also never liked Mrs. Potato Head so what a neat comparison between the two of them.

And finally, what a coincidence with our summer season and this improvised BBQ. Too funny!
