Oh well...

During weeks, you have heard this bee sound and you were bearing it. Do you remember the Soccer World Cup in South Africa? Here, in America, people were willing to pay a fortune to get the infamous vuvuzela.
I have the chance to have a South African friend. I made him a cozy scarf this past winter and this week, he sent me a vuvuzela purchased in his home country.
I can assure you that my son is crazy about it. We try it once in a while and it makes the neighborhood dogs bark their head off and probably drive our neighbors crazy. Oh well...

Le vuvuzela maudit! / The darn Vuvuzela!

Since the beginning of the South Africa World Cup, it is the headline of the hour. Whether we turn on the TV or the radio, everyday, it is the same story! We should talk about the soccer matches but what do we talk about instead? The infamous vuvuzela, of course!
African traditionally related and available for a few bucks, this hated music instrument ended up in stadium and even elsewhere! Last week, a soccer fan had the bad idea to bring his very own vuvuzela at a Yankees baseball game and security literally showed up the door. Last Friday morning, a workmate came to the office half-asleep because an idiot played the vuvuzela part of the night in the San Francisco neighborhood where he lives.
And, that’s not it! Some people believe we didn’t get enough of this darn instrument because iPhone recently released a new app featuring a digital vuvuzela. Yes, we are not done, unfortunately, hearing about vuvuzela!
